Meet David Hatfield, a highly experienced financial systems consultant with a track record of successfully implementing Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV & BC implementations for over 50 companies. David has nearly 20 years of consulting experience, during which he has managed and trained consultants, coordinated system integrations, managed profitability on projects, provided end-user training, and process documentation and automation. David was the founder and CEO of Vital IT Partners, LLC, a Microsoft Gold Partner that provides quality service to clients. Under his leadership, Vital IT Partners achieved Microsoft President’s Club membership in 2008. David’s expertise with all Financial Series, Distribution Series, Payroll, HR, and 3rd party modules makes him an invaluable asset to our clients.

Prior to starting Vital IT Partners, David was a GP Consultant at Solutions Consulting Group, where he provided Microsoft Great Plains consulting for many clients. David quickly became the senior consultant and personally performed the software installations, software upgrades, new user training, data migrations, and report customizations. Before that, he served as the Financial Systems Manager at Waste Services Inc., where he was responsible for system administration, maintenance, and user training for Microsoft Great Plains accounting system. David is also familiar with FRx Designer, Reporter, WebView, and FRx Forecaster.

David’s career began at dmDickason Personnel Services, where he was hired as the VP-CFO to establish a new accounting division to process payroll, invoice clients, manage cash flow, and prepare financial statements and government payroll tax reports. He was successful in completely taking over all accounting functions previously performed by Snelling, which increased profits and provided executive leadership. David also managed the entire computer network of the company with over 50 workstations using Windows NT.

David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and International Finance, which he graduated from Summa Cum Laude. He also earned a Master’s degree in Education, with a specialty in Educational Administration, and successfully passed the CPA exam on his first attempt in May 1995. Additionally, David holds several Microsoft certifications, including MCT, MCTS, MCP, and Dynamics Certified Professional.
